This is a photo of Catherine Phillippine Witte (aka White), daughter of Elisabeth Müller and Johann Friedrich Witte (aka White). With her are her husband, Henry Cord Harves, and daughter, Eliese Harves. catherine would be about 37.
Barbara Behnke has been in contact with Pat & Ray Harves of KC. Pat Harves got the picture from another Harves relative in Iowa in 2004. The picture was taken by a photographer in Seymour, Indiana. Cord died in 1898 at the age of 41 and since Eliese looks to be 17 to 20 years old so Barbara guesses the date of the photo to be the mid 1890’s.
