| We believe that Luigi (he was known as Louis) entered the United States between the ages of 6 and 12, based on family lore, and the information of his death certificate. He told everyone that he was 6 when he came to the United States, and that he came alone. He lived his life in New York City on Manhattan Island and in Brooklyn. |

LAGOMARSINO, Louisa |
My grandmother's origins present some mysteries, birthpace and surname among them. Birth-wise, most sources say she was born in the USA, but I have not found an actual source. Edna's birth certificate says Louisa was born in italy. She was born in 1884, but I have found no apperance in the 1892 NYS census not in the 1900 Federal census. Surname-wise, Lagomarsino is most common, but I have also found Lagamorsini (on Edna's birth certificate), Lagamorsini (on Edna's baptismal certificate), and Lagermasini (on husband's death certificate). |
